Skaven without spikes
« on: September 07, 2011, 01:52:51 AM »
I am removing all the spikes from the plastic skaven I just received after they actually drew blood  on my thumb while I was handling them. :-[
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Just be glad they're not poisoned!

I know what you mean, though.  I was working on a model of the Creature from the Black Lagoon but didn't like the way they molded the claws.  They'd be lucky if they could tear tissue so I took a knife to them.  Well, they're sharp now! I've since discovered that fact several times, while working on it.

Use superglue.  Regular superglue.  Sticks together a nice scalpel wound, creates a tough barrier- allows you to get on with work.
