Soviet female sniper
« on: 03 September 2011, 10:31:57 AM »
Just a tiny commission I did for a friend as a break from everything else this last week. The sniper miniature and the wooden post are from Reaper.

A couple more pictures on my blog:

Lovely work Anatoli. How does the scale of Reaper compare with other known WW2 Soviet ranges?

Cheers,

Helen

Didn't really check that  (forgot about doing so) but she looked lika a regular 28mm mini. The weapon on the other hand was a bit "heroic scale" and seemed rather large.

Thanks Anatoli. The Soviets do make things a little bigger so probably would not be out of place.

Thanks Galland  :)

@TankGirl ;
I think she would go well together with models from Artizan and their like considering the weapon. Warlord Games miniatures might be a little off since they are smaller and have slimmer weapons. Black Tree Design would not be any problem either.

Looks good and looks like she'd be very 'popular' amongst the soviet grunts.

I got so inspired by this miniature Anatoli, that I actually ordered it. I have no idea what to use her for, since I have no Russians what so ever, and dont intend to get any either. Still, I got this, so I guess I have to change my statement  o_o

Anyway, I am sure she will come in handy for our upcoming WWII/Pulp game in some way. Or... I will convert her and make her a snazzy Female SS Sniper Elite Sex Bomb or something  :o
