In terms of looking at the miniatures, the original white background works better - you tend to be closer to the figures in those shots, and they stand out more clearly against the white, where against the buildings the figures don't stand out as distinctly (esp. in some cases where the colors on the figures are close to the color of the building). However, the shots against the buildings are interesting as more of a "real life"/in game look. Two different approaches to photographing miniatures, both with their good points. In both cases I think you did a good job with the pictures, and I certainly think you did an excellent job painting the minis. Thanks for sharing!
