The lack of an overwatch-rule (or something similar) indeed often seem to be the one major complaint players have with the Lotow-rules. It can make some frustrating situations if a player can move a lot between terrain features that completely obscure line of sight. I feel the rest of the rules are robust and dynamic enough, however, that it's not that much of an issue. And some of it can even be avoided through clever use of Fame-points.

However, for anyone that might have this issue, we have also tried a house rule, that basically grants someone a 3+ in-the-way cover save (that cannot be modified by shotguns and such) instead of complete safety when they are visible during a move but not before and after. You could also extend this to some sort of 'stand-and-shoot'-reaction when getting charged if that is needed.
