Manhunter provided some lovely buffs with his boost power and the terrifying aura was fantastic.

Can you boost beyond the dice cap? Like, could Manhunter boost Arkillo to Strength 10 [1]? I think the answer is "yes" but I just wanted to check.

Do you have any tricks on the record keeping with Manhunter? A 10D boost would make my head spin  ;D

The boosts were pretty easy to keep track of as I tended to dish out 2 dice to arkillo's Agility and then 2 to each of Sinestro's Strength and agility and finally the last four dice went to tekik's strength and agility. This accounted for all 6 of manhunters AP and if I activate him first in the turn I boost and last in the following turn the guys get to effectively use their boost for two activations. As far as keeping track of the regain of the pool I didn't have to. Both times I played on Monday I failed my burnout roll. Assuming I had passed I doubt there would have been the opportunity to dish out another boost anyway. The rest of the team would be involved else where anyway so I doubt the chance would arise.

As far as boosting Arkillo to ten I think it could be done too but based on the examples in the rulebook he wouldn't be able to take advantage of the extra dice due to the dice cap rule so it would be pretty pointless.

Manhunter may even end up as someone's sidekick especially as I have just decided to add Hank Henshaw to the team...

That makes it easier!  lol

Actually, after I posted my question last night I went back and looked at dice cap rules and Boost/Drain doesn't have an asterisk by it. According to the Dice Cap section, a power that doesn't have an asterisk isn't constrained by Dice Caps, in the same way that situational modifiers aren't. So I *think* you could boost Arkillo if you wanted. Sounds like you've got a pretty good strategy without it though.

Having played against the Sinestro Corp a couple of times now they seem to play pretty well, like all good Super teams they have some great strengths but also some weaknesses that can be taken advantage of with careful play.
