New Otherworld Goblin Wolf Riders
« on: 01 October 2011, 03:54:34 PM »
Okay, I'm a John Pickford Fanboy - so am obviously overly excited about these (so that's my lame excuse, if these have already been posted here).

I adore them and can't hardly wait getting them - but I think that the more "finicky" fantasy gamer/collector will find them very useful, too :D

Want to have! I think his wolves are about the best you can get and the goblins look just as great! Absolutely my cup of tea...

Very nice, indeed :-*

Do you know how tall the Otherworld goblins are?
I could use the Wolf-riders for my "Lone Wolf" project, if they are close to the old Citadel Giaks.

And, when are they available?

Not sure - but rather big I would say. They are on converted Jo Brumby's Wolves and Dire Wolves (Chieftain/champion). So they are on 40mm bases and the wolves are standing 21mm and 25mm to their shoulders - Dire wolves 26-27mm . The usual OW goblin on foot are 21-22mm to the eye and like 25mm to the top of their head.

Shoul become available early November.

Measured the Giaks today, they stand around 20mm to the eye, so not to bad compared to the OW ones.
Will give them a try and oprder some, as soon as they are available :D

Very nice sculpts, indeed.
They even reach my favoured goblin riders from Vendel (now Sgt Major, unfortunately).

Wow I love these....almost as cool as the old Marauder ones.  I'm not real fond of the shape of the bow but other than that...PURE WIN!

Oh those are really, really nice although I feel they suit the dire wolves more than the smaller ones.

Would like to see some halflings done in a similair style on a ponies.

I really like the look of these goblins, looking forward to seeing them in person.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

The wolves are much, much too sweet and cuddly to be goblin mounts but the riders are great and as is often the case with otherworld you actually get enough poses to make a cool encounter, and that goes a long, long way.
