Supersystem Star Wars?
« on: January 26, 2012, 11:49:48 AM »
Hello

I saw the Star Wars 30mm miniatures of Knight Models

Has anybody make Starwars stats to supersystem?

Stats, no, but you have seen Blasters & Bulkheads, right?

Goalsystem space opera, streamlined version of the core Supersystem game engine.  If you're trying to do Star Wars minis skirmish, this game is the way to go.

I don't own Blasters and Bulkheads, but I'm a big Goalsystems fan.
You should check it out!

Thanks! but...

I use supersystem like a codex to play with superheroes, zombis, fantasy and scifi warbands, manga mechas,pirates,...

I don´t have to study Heroclix, Mordheim, Zombies, Infinity, Ron&Bones,...

If i use Supersystem to Starwars miniatures i don´t have to tell my friends that we have to study another rules

I´ll try to make the stats

carlosyc,

I own Chaos in Carpathia, Chaos in Cairo and Supersystems (and Chaos in Chronos but that's another story).

They are all based off of the Goalsytems formula and are all very similar rules systems.

My suggestion is to buy Blaster and Bulkheads and either:

A) Just use Blasters and Bulkheads rules, because there will be very few rules for your players to learn.

or

B) Modify Blasters and Bulkheads to Supersystems, which should be very easy to do.

Hopefully this helps you out.  :)

I own SuperSystem 3 and just bought Blasters & Bulkheads based on this thread.  It IS SuperSystem for star wars, you can't go wrong with it.  It's exactly what you are asking for in this thread.  Go for it.

If you play supersystem/goalsystem, then you won't have any problems with Blasters & Bulkheads; the core rules are supersystem (with a few variations), but includes profiles and equipment suitable for playing Star Wars.

Fergal, I forgot they updated Supersystems with a 3rd edition. I have the 2nd edition rules myself. My mistake.
