Signatures and deleting posts

Two problems just sprang up at me.  I've just included a signature in my profile, but it doesn't seem to be showing up in any of my posts made since then.  I can't find any box to tick to 'include signature' either.

Also, no delete message buttons on LAF?

You should be able to.
You have the option to 'Remove' in the top right of each of your own posts, (right next to 'quote' and 'modify').
I just checked that was the correct information on this very post, and it is.

I guess that's a "supporter's only option". I can only "quote" and "modify". Time to think about being a supporter then...

Not sure about that, but that would make sense.

It is a really helpful option when dealing with my Bazaar sales threads.

I think it only appears in your first post per topic or page (can't remember which). It's assumed that everyone reads the previous posts and gets it on the first time. A good feature, that, especially if the sig is an enormous eyesore banner and/or twice longer than an average post...

Yes, sig only appears once per page. Not really needed here, as the massive animated eyesore banner is not allowed on LAF, but a good feature for forums that do allow them. Nothing worse than having to look at the same stupid dancing gif all the way down a page, just because the idiot it belongs to can't shut up.  


I can delete my posts (and other people's on the boards I moderate). Not sure what is going on there. A bug? Prof might be able to tell you, he's the one that gets to look into the inner workings of the great mechanical beast that is LAF.

I can delete my posts (and other people's on the boards I moderate). Not sure what is going on there. A bug? Prof might be able to tell you, he's the one that gets to look into the workings of the beast.

I say "nothing worse", but that's hyperbole, obviously. I can think of plenty of worse things. Getting caught up in the civil war in Angola or the Rwandan genocide, the Tonton Macoute coming for you in the night, being forced to watch Loose Women...

As someone who does have a graphic banner in his sig (albeit a reasonably sized non-animated one!) I really like LAF's once-per-page setup. If I'm active in a thread, nobody needs to see my banner every three or four posts down a page!

And having posted this and checked, I only have "Quote" and "Modify" options in the top right corner of this post. I'd never bothered checking, but I guess you can't delete posts. There's no timeout on the Modify option, though.

How Plynkes said, Sig only onnce-per-page, that's our LAF setting.

About deleting own topics, it's not bounded to Supporting status. It's off (apart from on Bazaar and for the moderators on their boards) because some members had done some excessive using of the feature ravaqing the threads, turning them to nonsense this way. So you still can edit your post using "Modify" but not delete it. Just be carefull posting anything or edit it.
