Here is a link to a new dovecote that I built out of balsa and basswood
http://www.flickr.com/photos/marianas_gamer/I had a need for a cage to hold the carrier pigeons of the local factor (Willem DeLay) of the Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Kampala LTD trading post. Being as he is a slippery fellow, no one is sure where the pigeons will actually fly. Perhaps they will go the parent company, or the totally egregious but oh so polite agents of the North Borneo Company, or the inscrutable Wong Fu pirates. Only the next .45 Adventure game will tell. The "pigeons" by the way started out as bright yellow chicks of the geese that can be seen in some of the photos of the trading post. I found them in a 29 cents bin, cut them off the base of the geese and repainted them. They will be inside of the dovecote during the game (the door opens on pin hinges) and it will take a streetsmart roll to note that one of the pigeons has a note on its leg. Sorry the photos aren't the greatest.
