Thank you. It's my dad who has the real passion for the 15th,16th and 17th HLI, he calls them his Boys. He has been writing a book on them for aslong as i can remember. Maybe one day he will get it done haha.

Here is a good picture with a VBCW link to it. The Memorial is still inside the Parkhead bus depot near my home.

Fabulous work!  How about a unit of (my home town) Greenock Red Clydesiders?

My grandpapy was part of the crowd that declared the worlds first Soviet in George Square in 1919.  He'd been in the RFA in WWI and had become 'politicised'.  Tremendous bloke.

Yeah they are Ideal for Glasgow. Some nice Street fighting could be done with them.
