Very nice.  :-*
Love the miniatures, paint jobs and the quotes.
Never been to Glasgow, but I've been fascinated with the city for years.
VSCW- A very Scottish Civil War?

Sadly, the Glasgow Boys Brigade has declared bankruptcy ...*

Lovely presentation.

[*Edit: Sorry - a reference to the Celtic/Rangers colour schemes.  If there's a real Glasgow Boys Brigade, I know nothing of its finances.]

Thank you. It's my dad who has the real passion for the 15th,16th and 17th HLI, he calls them his Boys. He has been writing a book on them for aslong as i can remember. Maybe one day he will get it done haha.

Here is a good picture with a VBCW link to it. The Memorial is still inside the Parkhead bus depot near my home.

The Duke of York, the future King George VI, laying a wreath at the war memorial at the Parkhead tram depot, early 1920s. The General Manager of Glasgow Corporation Tramways, James Dalrymple, is standing just to the left of the memorial. The Lord Provost is framed between the columns of the memorial. In the background, women are watching the ceremony from their tenement windows on Tollcross Road.

Fabulous work!  How about a unit of (my home town) Greenock Red Clydesiders?

My grandpapy was part of the crowd that declared the worlds first Soviet in George Square in 1919.  He'd been in the RFA in WWI and had become 'politicised'.  Tremendous bloke.

Great back ground info, and pait job. I always find a game to be more intresting when the sides have a really history to them
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Yeah they are Ideal for Glasgow. Some nice Street fighting could be done with them.
