Here are a few more interior shots of the Ju-Ju House. I am a terrible photgrapher.
The surface of the desk has scattered tarot cards on it. You can note the masks adorning the walls. I scratchbuilt the bookcases. I made three out of coffee stirrers and card backs. Bookcases are rather time consuming to make. I have about 60 books, made in bulk. Just PVA glue typing paper around a coffee stirrer and cut it into random sizes, leaving one exterior exposed. Then just add some paint to the cover.
I cut a clear piece of plastic from some sort of packaging to fit the window and glued it carefully inside using Goop (my favorite adhesive). It made a nice window pane. I hung an interior curtain of paper towel soaked in PVA glue which I hung and painted on a toothpick for a curtainrod. Of course I had to hang a closed sign in the window too.
And finally my evil little alter. I made a few of these a long while ago out of sculpty to use as terrain markers. I crafted a small Bloody Tongue statue to go in this room but didn't like the look and decided to put one of these on display. I added the stone pedistal to give it some immenant flair.
These final few shots have nothing to do with my Ju-Ju House.. I just got a bit photo happy with my scenery and figured I'd include them. Some are rather poorly focued though.
This is one of my favorite new figures from Uncle Mike's Strange Aeons range. I held off painting her for a while until I decided on a good color scheme. She looks outstanding with her shotgun and cigarette. Sadly the picture is slightly out of focus. She looks great by the flower vase here.
This is my witch house figure. I searched long and hard for a witch figure I liked. This one is a bit large for my taste but looks great.
I love my wood stove here. There is a pile of wood on the floor too just out of picture view.
