A converted Offensive Miniatures Dutch Artillery Battery
« on: March 28, 2012, 11:29:49 AM »
My first post in this section (makes a change from Field Grey, Khaki and Olive Green!).

I converted some excellent Offensive Minis into a Dutch battery 1815, for my 100 days campaign.

regards

BB

Offensive Miniatures make the whole set, albeit they are originally French. I swapped a French gun from the set for a spare British one, as the Dutch had both, having fought under both systems.

Speak to Dave at Offensive he will help you out.

I started out as a toy soldier collector about 20 years ago, and I just like plain green bases, like the ones you get W Britains soldiers. Looks odd, but all my stuff is like that.

I paint for a living now, and the ones I do to sell are terrain based, on which I spend a bit of time. See below:

To late to change now as I have 3x20mm WW2 armies, 2 ACW 28mm Brigades, a 28mm Marlburian unit, and a ton of 1815 Nap in 28mm, all based on plain green steel bases.

I do like the DUtch/Belgian brigade I am building, doing Dutch Militia next using Perry metal. Also doing Black Brunswickers at present which I love too.

Thanks Dutchie!
