Jaguar Beastman
« on: 01 May 2012, 01:47:05 AM »
Hi All,

Here is an upcoming Jaguar Beastman for ShadowSea, released soon by Cavalcade Wargames. Called an Ocelotl Long Tooth for the Axibalan Empire force in the game, the figure was sculpted by Kevin Adams. The base comes with the mushrooms as a major part of the game is an underground fungal forest, so I painted them like Amantia mushrooms (or Fly Amantia, or fly Agaric). They looked interesting enough in the photos I found - very colorful.

VERY WELL DONE! I've always been a bit intimidated by jungle cats' fur; so this makes the brushwork even more impressive for moi. Both minis are lovely...in a macho sort of way.

How are these going to link with the underwater game? Or are they entirely seperate?

Entirely separate, although the rules use the same core "engine". In theory, one could try walking around on land in the dive suits but they are not really good for that. Same goes for the beastmen diving to the bottom of the ocean.
