what figures/uniforms for this period?
I'm thinking TAGs Swedish musketeers with the puffy breeches with maybe some of North Stars 1672.

I’m not sure about ‘puffy breeches’ , but I’d say the TAG Swedes with the long coat & the North Stars range would suit nicely for the later Restoration period.

The fashion for the 1650‘s was for wide loose ungathered breeches (so called petticoat breeches) and by 1660's similar, but gathered below the knee (rhinegraves) with an ‘overskirt' worn over them. I think that the longer coat of the period will hide numerous 'sins’ for all but the purist.

Reiver Castings do have a range for the Covenanter rebellions of the late 1660‘s. Although they look a bit ‘ropey’ on their site, they do look nice on their trade stand at shows (good paint jobs though).
