Sci-Fi and Fantasy Modeller Steampunk II
« on: 24 May 2012, 10:53:53 PM »
I thought you all might want to check out the new Steampunk modeling book by Sci-fi and Fantasy Modeller. The "Mad Scientist of Modeling" Ward Shrake uses a couple of my minis in his victorian fish-sub diorama on page 96 (you can see a bit of the Terror of Shindig Sandbar peeking out of one corner).

This looks to be a good book with plenty of inspiring stuff.

That fish submarine has a rather familiar feel to it!

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

I'll have to find a copy of this.

Haven't seen 'em in the local bookstores, but have on eBay from a seller out of GA. Also, some of the first issue as well.

Bit pricey, but I don't think you can do better buying from the UK, though I've not done any diggin'.

Thought it might be of interest, XCIV, as we're both unwashed colonials...  lol

Speak for yourself. I had a bath last Saturday, even though I wasn't sure I needed it.

"Unwashed colonials" indeed!
