Sweet stuff!  That one girl looks like Gilda Radner from Saturday Night Live in the 70's!
They call me "Point Cow"

How about using the Pulp Figures Frauleins with VBCW?*

Great use of various female minis for your BUF forces.  :-*

The tanks also look great.

That's a lot of fun.  I recognise the Copplestone Gun Molls and the Empress SCW miliciana, but who are the two ladies in skirts in the middle?
Back from the dead, almost.

If I have your meaning.  There are Resistance figures I think by Blacktree?
No sure as I got them in a job lot.  Will try and confirm.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Thanks.  I think those may be OOP now - I could only find (all-male) "soviet" partisans on Black Tree's website, and not French resistance.

There is one in this pack but it doesn't seem to be the one in Tym's picture. Obviously by the same sculpter though.

BTD has has a lot of history of poor service and there are a lot of people on this forum and on other, less polite, forums who will say all sorts of bad things about the company, but I have been using them for about two years now and have lost count of the number of orders I have placed with them, and I have never been disappointed with them. Deleivery is usually within a week, and the cost is great. Much of my VBCW army is from BTD.

I say this before any of the 'Down with BTD' crowd hyjack the thread.

The Girl on the left is sort of the same?  Mine has shoes and socks rather than boots.

I think Rob has the correct answer the figures may have changed.  just to further Robs comment I have not had any issues with Blacktree but I have only ordered twice off them.

rifle added to girl on the left

I'd not be prepared to let that happen, there's a thread in the depths of Open Talk for that. I think we can just leave it at "not everyone has received the same level of service" from them, myself included. Far from "Down with BTD", I think it's more of a case of frustration at not being able to get hold of some of the quite wonderful figures they have in their ranges at times.

 :)

I do like these figures though and I see a nice collection is developing.  :)
