French 10th Dragoons elite company 1812-15.  Line Dragoons were one of the few units to leave the Iberian Peninsula with their reputations enhanced due to their role in keeping the roads and communications open and their  anti guerrilla operations. The 10th had carmine facings - a  sort of dark madder red.
