Venusian Plants, Romans and Spikes

The sons of Rome have returned, ca. 188--. Having found Italy full of Italians and Rome full of Papists, they have turned their attention to the jungles of Atlantis and/or Venus.

Spikes are from the (Warlord Games) Scorpion battery hidden in the foliage, and the trees are modified leftover plastic greenery from my mother in-law who totally gets what I'm doing here and is thrilled.
