Just saw this on TMP so I'm relaying it here because I feel it's quite important, and it has happened to me as well. The dreaded frosting effect when certain brands of matte varnish sprays are used at certain temperatures. So far the there was only the hope (apart form stripping the mini) that another gloos coat would lessen the effect.

Now, I can't see how this has been discovered, but OLIVE OIL seems to restore the mini effectively.

Thanks for the heads-up, will certainly give this a try next time the varnish decides to frost up.
