I actually prefer all of the other figures over the sniper, especially the dog!

Woof!

<snip>only that they have some elements that are anachronistic and would look out of place alongside historical figures.<snip>

Exactly.

I am just a historical/hysterical prude when it comes to some figure ID'ed as related to a historical period.

In a diorama the nude female could be a perfect figure for the intended goal.

ok she may not be "total" historical, but she was presented unter "Fantasy Adventures". So where is the point about anachronistic or not realistic (the posing for example) ::)

Well, the other point was for me compatiblity. To my point of view, she won't match stylistically, not even with my landsknecht dwarfs and goblins, fantasy or not. Of course, this doesn't affect other people's enjoyment of the figure and as I said, there are other ranges that she will fit in with.

In other news, I suspect the nude one is a 20mm figure. The picture looks like the pictures of the sculptor who does the Valdemar range.

Indeed. It closely resembles this 90mm figure from El Viejo Dragón (again, not safe for work  ::)). Don't think the 1/72 version has been made available yet, I had two from a limited first mould run for a commissioned paintjob. And still, I'm a proud member of LAF. ;)

I love them all...including the dog. They are, however, somewhat out of my price range. C'est la vie, eh?!
