A good show - always nice to meet up with folk again.

That bloody carpet in the games room at the back seemed designed to cripple though ...  >:(

Yes, bad enough for us sure-footed folk, but those with sticks or poorly sighted? Nightmare......  >:(

As an aside, when I looked at what I had bought, it was very light.  The EM4 farmhouse, Saga and Bolt Action Dice, the BA German guide, two obelisks and only three packs of Wars of the Roses figures.  Is this a sure sign that my lead pile is too huge and that I don't need many/any more figures?  :o

I assume that I am not alone in finding items in my collection that I had forgotten I had and had been thinking of buying?  8)

That may be the ghastly truth...  ;)

Afraid I couldn't make it either day in the end. Too much other stuff on. Will have to hold out until Salute before replenishing tufts!

I know that back sports hall at Rivermead all too well though. Complete with multiple trip hazards and (presumably) the usual heaving sea of beady-eyed rules lawyers arguing minutiae over acres of upturned Subbuteo cloth?  ::)

I keep seeing new shinies, look hard, price up an army and then.... reality kicks in and I leave it alone......

In the last year, I have looked at Saga Byzantines, WSS, SYW, Brunswick Napoleonics, Perry's Carlists, Ged's Maximilian War, Empress SCW and Malamute's Zorro range. But this is not exhaustive.

I think all wargamers have more than a touch of OCD/ADHD/autism in their make-up.........

Oooooh! Sorry, saw some shinies........ :D
