What happerned to Urban Beat Miniatures?
« on: 14 January 2013, 08:24:53 PM »
I was hoping to get my hands on a few of the Urban Beat Miniatures British police but after a bit of googling I have found that Urban Beat Miniatures is no longer trading, and that North Star have stopped selling them.

Apparently Wessex Games have bought the moulds, but I can't make any sense of their website, and they do not appear to be selling them. Does anyone know if these figures are available anywhere?
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

The ones that typically come up on eBay are from WarmAcre's "No Go Zone" range - similar theme, but the figures are all unarmed, unlike Urban Beat...

They do belong to Wessex Games. I don't know if they have the figures back in production, I'd get in touch with them.

Cheers

Wessex have the lot, I only kept some samples for me to look back and think, ah, a failed business venture....

I did 'sweeten the deal' with quite a few castings, so they had a number of sets ready to sell. Keep bothering them and they might get things sorted out.
