Right, so these are the first 1:72 scale figures I've ever painted, since I normally paint 25-28mm figures. These are the Airfix Robin Hood figures. Although the sculpts are pretty good (but small

) the casts are terrible. There's an awful lot of excess plastic and it's pretty hard to clean it away. Still, there's a lot of figures for the low price and I've always wanted to paint some Robin Hood figures. As I have been watching Robin of Sherwood a lot lately (I'm currently watching series 2), I had to pick these up when I saw them. I painted these three figures today, and they're
very easy to paint.

It's a shame the figures on the box aren't named, so I had no idea who some of these figures were. Also, the quantities as shown on the box are completely wrong. For example, I have 4 models of a figure of which the box clearly says:
x1. Oh, well. They were cheap, after all.
