Indian Lewis Gunners/ Bombers
« on: June 29, 2008, 10:24:02 PM »
This is one of those endless request that sculptors get:
If anyone out there is listening, please consider sculpting 28mm Indian Army Bombers and Lewis Gunners (Hotchkiss gunners in the cavalry) for WWI and the Back-of-Beyond era. There are a lot of nice infantry and cavalry figures being made I'd like to be able to fill my forces out. I'm sure others would too.
Thank you for your attention and on to better things
Scott

Hi Scott,

You haven't been looking at the right thread. Please checkout the New Miniatures and you will see that a forthcoming Sikh lewis gunner will be released within the Brigade Games Command Pack out next month. Debut could be Historicon! There is a sikh bomber in with the Brigade Games  Sikh Character Command. He is the one with the mills bomb in his right hand!

Hope this helps.  8)
Best wishes,
Helen

Hi Helen,
I spent the weekend reading about the initial operations of the Indian Army in Palestine in 1918, so I'm all in a fluster about finishing (& getting more) of my Indian Army figures. I've been looking at Soapy's Turkish and Anzac bombers and that's what made me wish for something similar from Brigade or Copplestone or Soapy. I'll keep up with the other thread though. Those Sikh command packs are going to be great. It's a good time to be gaming the Great War.
Thanks again,
Scott
