Lead Adventure mutants?
« on: 26 March 2013, 11:08:33 PM »
It looks like there are some WIP sculpts aside from the one pack that already exists. Are those coming out this year?

In the meantime, what else are people using for mutants?  I'm looking for humanoids and stuff vaguely reminiscent of Metro 2033.   I know of Ramshackle games but not much else...

Lots of people on Post-Apocalyptic Wargames (http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/index/) use some old Necromunda minis, Mantic Ghouls are also popular. There are also the Neuroshima Tactics minis.
The most important thing in the hobby is that you're having FUN! Doesn't matter if you win or lose.

For mutants in general Taban/ Eden miniatures- the degenerates do work well for muties (link), some of the Bamaka as well(link).

Madpuppet Miniatures had some nice mutants, though I don't know if the shop still operates- might be better to contact them first before putting in an order.

Some of the Dark Age minis might work as well.

Hasslefree have some mutants hiding amongst their zombies, also some of the aliens might work as well.

Heresy has some lovely ghouls, that also could be used as mutants

Fenris
have a mutant (Amos) and two zombies (Homer & Barney)
sanity is for cowards

Wow! Thanks guys--I wouldn't have found a lot of this stuff on my own. Especially like the Madpuppet and Trollforged stuff. Still waiting to see what Lead Adventure will be doing too...

I hope so, the sculpts are finished and in the pipeline now.
