The First of my Skeletons Painted
« on: 21 May 2008, 11:22:04 PM »
Well, I finally painted a couple skeletal pirates. I know, it's about time!!!! :)

I am thinking about following a red and black theme for the skellies rather than a more flamboyant array of colors. Any thoughts? Or suggestions? I have quite a few more to paint, so a change now would present no problem.

Nice job.  The bases look really good too.  Are those the sculpted bases you offer in your store?

Regarding your colors question, I think that one of the nice things about pirates is that you're not stuck painting uniform colors over and over again.  On the other hand, your pirates ain't modest in their attire, are they, and a single color might bind them together well.  Of course it could be said that their bones provide the binding color, so maybe their rags should show some variation????
