so ... another add for my Kinderstube, since I managed this little fellow ... er ... ess

I guess it could be a good idea to add a door as a shield (to hide behind), huh? ^^

She is the first of my Ratniks dwarves I bought last year and which I had the time to paint during December.

Wow - she looks like a force of nature!

I think a pudding bowl as a shield would be fun  ;)

Like to share something ... first a (so far) well done face ... I am really fond of it ... from that distance

But with a closer look ... urks ...

Like I always say ... "eyes" are not the problem ... just the second one is, guess which is which  o_o

But here ... I wanted to show this for quite a while, but happen to make some pictures today! Here I am happy with the complete face, through and all. But faces of three-hundred year old dwarfs maybe are a little bit easier to paint ...

and I am especially happy with this one:

Some details need some more attention, but I am a little bit afraid of going on with these minis here, cause somehow I am anxious not to ruin anything.  :?

And I also wanted to show my recent doings:

I realized, that in recent years, I do less and less like to paint masses of minis at once, say "regiments" in an (within my own skills) "experienced" level of painting ... masses somehow tend to slip my carefulness in painting. Or maybe I am just "developing" different styles of my own painting? I am not sure. Somehow I think on one hand I came to a level of painting, but on the other hand do not want to use it for ALL of my minis. Dunno how to express that in a better way.

best wishes
