VBCW Battle of Loch Linnhe. Carronade 11th of may 2013

Hello gents. ( Sorry for the late report and apologize if the photos are bad are main recon craft was low on batteries.)

The day began with rain pouring down on the first troops of the scottish column as the advanced to the river. On the other side the jacobies hurried to meet the column.


The first scots cross the river with the piper leading the way only to be met with a hail of fire from the jacobites armoured car.


The scottish foreign legion charge into the irish jacobites whilst more troops storm over the bridge.


The Carden Loyd gets lucky and destroys the jacobite armoured car.

More jacobites join the irish whilst the reaper does his duty. The irish loose too many and run for their lives.


More scots arrive and hurry to the bridge.

After finishing off the last of the foreign legion the jacobites in yellow are sreaded by the Carden Loyd and run for thier lives.

On the other side of the battle the Argyle militia and the black watch engage fire with the scots guard and more militia as the irish flee into the forest.


The carden loyd opens fire on more jacobites causing them to run as well.

With most of there force running for there lives and more scots crossing the bridge the remaining jacobites turn and run.


To tell you the truth we didn't play much spent to much time talking.
