Little while ago I got an old printer. Didn't work. I am REALLY fond of taking these kinds of things apart.
So I did. I also started gathering bits from it.
I've a large box under my bed now, full of bits and bobs to make terrain pieces out of.
I got one of the plastic parts that make up the body of a printer and.. Stared at it for a few months. The other day, I grabbed some plaster board and had a go at making a factory.
Filler from poundland, sand and some other things ended up at this stage;

The front was riddled with structure. I needed to fill it with filler and glue on cardboard just to make it look like a building. I might still carve bits out and detail them a bit, though/

This is the right-hand side when looking at the front of the building. It's going to look like the wall has caved into the entryway (You can see that a bit from the frontal shot). It'll leave a bit of space for the occupants to see outside.

A shot from the back. You can see the open factory floor and the raised panels along the left (that sit over the entryway).
I'll probably try putting some doors together for the sunken section of the wall.

Platform and the smashed-up walkway. The generator-like thing came from the power unit of an old PC tower and is not attached (I wanna have this as a cool little item to pop in anywhere suitable C: )

The only way into the building is a busted-in window. It'll be made up to look more raider-y in time. (Also featured is my current pride-an-joy, Hasslefree Jo with Hasslefree minigun in a very complicated WIP conversion!)

The Behemoth I've put together easily towers over the buildings walls...

...But they're not all afraid.
"I have no memory of this place";

Oh yea.. A while ago I found a toy dinosaur and realised it'd make a great GIANT mole rat. Basing the idea on the artwork showing people riding on the backs of them...
It was too dirty so the idea was scrapped. Then I found a nicely-detailed dimetrodon

It didn't have a long life as a dinosaur.
