It Came from beyond the still rules question...
« on: 21 July 2013, 03:52:41 PM »
After the first fun game of ICFBTS I encountered some rules vaguaries that I solved while playing but I'd still like to hear what was originally intended.

The rules nowhere explain how you shoot and hit someone. A gun does a number of damage (say 1d6) but there is no To Hit number. Instead each target has a Hit Me number. I played that you tried to inflict Wounds by making the target's Hit Me roll and then rolled for damage where each point of damage resulted in a Wound. But it might well be the other way around.

Does anyone have any idea what was the intention here?

EDIT: Someone on TMP explained. I know better now....

When shooting i added the weapons damage bonus (+1, +2 ect.)to the result of the D6 like in most games, but after reading the answer from Watchtower 78 on TMP, i think this bonus reduce the to hit me score of the target.
both will work well i think.
