Mutant Miniatures
« on: 09 June 2008, 07:05:48 PM »
Hello,

I'm on the look out for some mutant miniatures suitable for a post-apocolyptic world similar to the fallout games to play in Mutants and Death Ray Guns.

In particular I'm looking for ones armed with melee weapons that would fit well with GW Scavvies, Copplestone/EM4 Scavengers and Kallistra Sci-Fi models.

Thanks

When I played the wondeful (if illfated...thanx Mongoose. :-[) Gangs Of Mega City One I had a cursed earth mutant gang. Most of the Mongoose produced figures in this range were poorly sculpted but the Mutant Gang boxed set is quite good. I was able to find some of the brilliant (but o.o.p.) Judge Dredd mutants from Games Workshop...great story but not very helpful I know...I'm comming to that. There were such a large number of mutations needed for easy play that I started looking into cheep alternatives and found that Hero Clix, Star Wars and Dungeons and Dragons all had some great pre-painted figures that were easy to hack up and re-paint. Now you can have an acid spitting Greedo with a battle ax if you are into that sort of thing...or a Cobald with a blaster and crab claw...or...well, you get the point. Best of luck

He's got quite a few great 'mutants' in the HOST line there.
