It had to happen.
Although I have a big phobia of MDF models, I finally bought one - by mistake! I hadn't realised it was mdf. My fault, the blurb clearly stated it.
The up side is - I'm enjoying building it up! It's a good job I have a moratorium on buying more stuff, or I'd get more (I actully have 2 models, as I'd purchased two).
Anyway: the model has several detail lines marked (as is usual on mdf models, it seems) with the laser set to a low power.
How do you retain these? I can imagine three approaches:
1) using thin layers of paint
2) very careful painting between the lines
3) redoing the lines with a brush (gulp!) or pen to refresh them.
Am I right, or is there a simpler way out?
