Of Steamwork and Magik Obscura
« on: 08 November 2013, 04:02:07 PM »
I also put here on this forum, an old work did last year for the first contest of Minimondi (first italian site for the game scenery).
The theme of the contest was "The Tower".
Each participant had to build a tower, were 3 categories: historical, fantasy and scifi.
With this work I finished third in the overall standings, first for the category in which I competed and first to the popular vote.

The pictures of the finished piece, piece that has already seen a couple of adventures.

Hope you like it.

That is a WONDROUS combination of the finest elements of Fantasy & Steam Punk. I fell in love with the Beasty the first time I saw it at CMoN. I'm delighted you posted it here where I can readily access it for a jolt of pure inspiration. VERY WELL & IMAGINATIVELY DONE!

Really nice work! I'd guess some well deserved wins. Do I spot some pringles tubes in there?

I can imagine that you have a lot of fun with these pieces of scenery. Some pictures from them in use, in game reports is certainly welcome.
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

They're cardboard tubes of the same diameter of the Pringles tubes, but taller. They come from the rolls of industrial paper.

Thank you for the kind comments!!!
