hi there

Only recently found your forum via a search engine, seems like THE place to be if you've an interest in non-mainstream miniatures.

I'm an 'old' wargamer from Norfolk in England, married with two grown kids but still love table top battles, as I point blank refuse to 'grown-up'

Greetings from your neighbour to the south in good old Suffolk - they're a nice bunch of folks here in what is probably the friendliest forum on the net.

Welcome, good to see another East Anglian here.
They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
We will be victorious!!

Welcome aboard, jester!
Another East Anglian - must be in the water
I grew up on the Essex Cambs border, so I think I can call myself that as well.

I'd agree with the other posters - this is one of the friendliest forums I've encountered. I think most of us qualify as in the not-grown-up-category.

The trick with offspring is to nuture your kids into becoming opponents for your battles...
Thankfully, my son tips in once in a while for a wargame, when he can be prized off the PS3 for long enough without going cold turkey.
Otherwise I'd call myself more of a modeller/gamer than gamer/modeller

What periods are you interested in?
Warriors dreams, summer grasses, all that remains

Welcome to LAF jester.

May you have a long and merry stay with us.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!
