Crew for longboat
« on: May 13, 2014, 09:35:45 PM »
Took the plunge and bought a 28mm viking longboat at the weekend. Wondered if anyone could recommend a set of vikings to use as crew? Plastic or metal - either would be good.

If it isn't enjoyable, it isn't gaming!

Again, here in the 21st Century, I despair at the mere thought of a company showing sketches of their products instead of photos of the actual product in their webstore!

Is a picture really so much to ask for? Most ppl own a digital camera these days - let alone their omnipresent phones...  ::)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

I think GB's boats are OOP ATM but I recently contacted them about crew to convert to Late Roman "paddlers" and bought their Pictish rowers as they are in trousers but they do Viking crew as well although the Viking ones are one piece figures that come seated on a chest. Just send them an email and they will no doubt help you. I also purchased a pack of standard bearers, at least one of whom will become a helmsman.
Cheers,

That would be the route I'd try first too. Their crew have bags of character.

Darrell.
