That's true, but I think it's just Bob Murch's sculpting style. When I pair him with Artizan's Not-Indy or Murch's own new version, I think he'll look the part on the table.

I need to find a good mini to use as Willie, though... 

Excellent detail and shading.

It's really just 3-5 layers from dark to light of everything. Nothing fancy, just requiring some patience and time.
