Playtesting wanted.
« on: 07 December 2013, 06:50:10 PM »
Hi there.

This is an old tabletop game that was not written by me and it seems to have disseapered from the internet. I really like the game and want it to live on, but I also have some issues with it. So I have so far written the game down from my copy of it and have just made some small modifications to it.

I would really appreciate if some of you could playtest it. I do not ask of you to play full games using the rules, but rather take a few minutes using perhaps two, Three miniatures and some terrain and test them. It shouldn´t take long. The rules are meant for modern - sci-fi games, but I have only included a few weapons and armor from the original rules.

The rules are meant for small scale actions and therefore I consider it ok for them to be lumbering so there are no need to mention that. I would like input though on for example using the phase system. Do you like the covering fire phase, does it add tactical value to a game? Do the snap fire rule work or should I go back to the authors version of only allowing snap fire before or after movement, not during?  Is the orginial authors idea of the weapons accuracy modifies the cover save, during the aimed phase a good idea? And so forth...

So please any critisism is good and inspirational.
