The sea is thanks to one of the guys down at club I run Aftermath gaming club, by the way there are more pics on there as well.
Basicly he went onto a website a took a photograph of the sea that he liked, once he had the image he copied it and pasted it next to each other to cover the size of the board he wanted.
Once that was done he shoved it on a disk and took it to a photo copier place and had it printed out and laminated.
Probably cost about a fiver or so, but the result as you say looks very realistic and adds great depth to the game.
