What did Peter particularly prefer in terms of colours etc.?

Any special vignettes we haven't seen in the old magazines?

How many did you paint and are there any figures /pictures left you can share?  Any great stories?

Very nice, indeed.

And the great Mr. Gilder has much to answer for in my case.  Without him I might have a few hundred figures, maybe - only maybe - a thousand or two.  Because of him I have over 32,000 of the little guys.  Though he might scowl at my collection being entirely in 15 mm.  Avoids the table being quite so crowded so fast.  Not that he alone is too blame.  But my collection would not be what it is without his inspiration via Wargames Illustrated.

Dang, those are some big units, Carlo!

Thanks for all the kind comments on the blog.  Greatly appreciated.

The site has been updated with teh final chapter of the Gilder Sudan rules with a combat example to finish.

Lots of battle reports and other bits and pieces to follow (hopefully in a reasonable time frame).

Merry Christmas to all!  As you can see from the photograph Christmas shopping can be quite an ordeal no matter where in the Empire you may find yourself.
