A small Christmas bricolage ...
« on: 01 January 2014, 09:03:33 PM »
So, it's 2014 already, and only one year to 2015 and our club's next napoleonic game. That means some new vignettes for the table, and as I had something in mind for a looong time now, it was just started a couple of days ago when I had a creative moment. Here comes the first teaser pics, and as you all love to have a guess, just answer the following question:

"What have a french chef de cuisine, a poodle dog and an amputated frog in common?"  :D

If you wonder about the miniatures' colour, they have been undercoated with Humbrol flat 88 and got a heavy wash with my wood ink mix. That's my current preferred method of prepping figures for painting.

More pics when I achieve progress; I wonder what you'll come up with ...

Please, what manufacturer makes the poodle?
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

The poodle is obviously a highly trained frog catcher from 'Ze Hop To It' School of dog training in Paris and the chef decided frogs leg(s) are to be served to the General at the next meal  :o  As for 'Le Hopper', he was clearly marked for the high jump as the poodle got him before he could leap away.
