Finally, another addition to the junkyard. During my last stay in Ireland I got some miscatst from Brian at the Hobbyden, and this is from that lot. If you like the model, it is a 20mm Mercedes, code HD16 and retails for 6.50 euro. Makes for a great Middle-eastern taxi cab or a bit of scenery for your Cold War games in Germany. Or in my case, as a hunk of junk.





A cookie to the one who recognizes the stickers on the windshield.

No idea where the stickers are from (movie reference or local Netherlands cultural reference?).  I think they actually add loads of credibility to the piece though.  Lovely job on the whole thing.  I'd gladly hide behind it (though it wouldn't stop bullets that well...a pretty common myth!)
