Bretonnian Archer Hordes
« on: 12 January 2014, 01:41:44 AM »
Hi chaps
Two units of 40 Bretonnian archers made from GW plastics (old and newer), GW 5th Ed squires and and lots of Front Rank 100YW archers and men at arms.

More over at my blog.
Cheers
Brian

They are very nice, great colour combination.

I was 5 years off of realising awesome these sculpts were (and being old enough to have a disposable income) to get all of this range (I managed 5 mounted bowmen) at the time. Thankfully there's eBay and the Perry Brothers' WotR range.

Thanks for sharing.

The Lads are individually STUNNING & VERY IMPRESSIVE as a group. I love the Fellow sharpening his stake. GREAT WORK!

That is a Front Rank figure from their HYW range I think.

I like how your have mixed your units with old, 'new', and HYW. It gives a feeling of peasantry rabble yet still a working unit.

How are your QK coming along?

Cheers
