Khurasan previews WSS Bourbon Spanish Cavalry
« on: January 30, 2014, 03:45:40 PM »
18mm -- useful up until 1717 -- and probably for the War of the Quadruple Alliance as well, because regulations took a few years to implement, so the 1717 reg to drop the shoulder ribbon probably hadn't taken practical effect yet.

These were the hard charging victors of the Battle of Almansa in 1707.

Spanish infantry, French line cavalry and generic artillery will be released as soon as I get them from the casters. Following soon after will be French high command (the painter is keen to be done with them as they continually demand caviar and champagne!).  Mike has just made the Dutch infantry, Spanish artillery and these Spanish cavalry.

Then we'll make Felipe V and a Spanish general officer, and Dutch cavalry.

Then it's on to the rosbifs!
