I scratch built one a few years ago from assorted bits of plastic.
The "dish" was the easiest bit - came from a local haberdashery shop.
A white plastic disc that holds dress-making pins - the long ones with a bead on the end.
Glynis uses loads of pins so if you want one pm me your address.

Actually, I was in a pound shop last week and noticed a plastic strainer thingy for putting over sink plugholes that would probably make a good radar dish. Probably a bit modern or SF looking, but they come in a pack of 2 (for a pound, with a sink plug).
