Neo-JSDF force
« on: 14 March 2014, 10:01:53 PM »
Some of the last of my figures that bought years ago and now painted. Based the paint scheme on Ghost in the shell and Appleseed anime’s.
The soldiers were dressed in dark greys and light grey highlights.  And yes for the character models painted the hair in Anime colors.
The figures are from victory force like them only not much variety in poses or weapons.  Tried to convert but the way they are holding
the gun barrel make it hard and did like how they looked after.

Heavy infantry

Light infantry

Jump troops

Power armor

Characters

Since based these on the anime’s also bought some models to go with the force.

Think the heavy think tank is a little to big is 1/35 scale but was hopping, Will use it any way

What's not to love? I think you pulled off the hair colours, I like it.

Wow, cool stuff! Love the total look and the way they look like the anime. What models are these?

They all seem to be Victory force miniatures.

My question is how well do they stack up against other sci-fi miniatures lines. like Mercs, Hasselfree, infinti etc..
And by that I mean in size and proportions.

I painted some of these back in the day. Here is a quick camparison : Victory-Infinity-Victory-Hasslefree-Victory. The miniatures are very anime and slightly chunkier...height wise is about the same. Sorry for the quick pic.
