Sheffield Triples Sunday photos

I had a great day out Sunday wandering around the show. Here are all my photos:

My favourite games were:

This picture I have since found out is the legendary Amazon assault on Athens prior before the Trojan war.

Thanks for such an extensive photo coverage. 8)

Anyone have a contact for the Leeds Wargames Society who put on the raid on the Italian airfield?
Cheers,

I went Saturday. I seemed quieter and even more so in the afternoon. Not actually a bad thing as I didn't get pushed and barged about. People were definitely buying. One retailer commented that he thought the problem was that people wanted more to do at a show now, not just buy things - they do that on the internet and get it within a week. He mentioned a dual re-enactment and show might work to provide the entertainment and draw in other crowds.

Re-enactment groups and shows is an old marriage and there was a Napoleonic group there on Sunday. Displays and living history would increase interest. My favourite idea would to have lots of participation games. Hammerhead does this well and you get to try out lots of different rules. However I do like eye candy games.
