I don't know if it's the right place where include the picture, but I think lara croft is a modern pulp character, as indiana jones.

Here my Lara Croft miniature (an old miniature I bought about 14 years ago), I painted her some days ago just for fun

The paint scheme is from the classic first official videogame character.
