I'm not sure that's true - Ronin was designed as a historical game, and the mythical additions have been very much that - additions to meet popular demand (also available - see the OWG resources page in my signature - with more to come). From what I gather, Daisho is going to be a pure Japanese Fantasy game.

I think anyone eager for something more than Ronin in the Fantasy stakes will be well-served by Daisho.
