A few weeks back I purchased on a whim some Therians to act as 'border guards' for my mnay-worlds board (long story).
I had painted one up, and am now doing some mildly-modified Wraith Golgoths (or whatever it is they're called), and have found a colour scheme which is actually fun and simple. In short, I'm enjoying this very small project. I might even add some 'thecrons' to the mix using the same colours.

I am having to look up each model name I am aware of online, but have not found a list of released models anywhere - any pointers?

And - how was AT-43 as a game?

I didn't mind the rules. Just never really got into it for some reason.

I was recently looking at my Therians with a view to making a Saga variant based around them. This is something I started back in 2011 or 12 and come back to every now and then. This time I wanted to try and figure out the weapons and I think I was able to find a list of models via Google. That's as far as i got again, though, as I haven't had time to focus on it properly. My initial ideas are on the Saga forum.

I thought there was at least one still online, but it's a dead link now.  You can always download the old rulebook:

As to the game itself, it was generally ok.  It had some balance problems as new units were released and it didn't deal well with 3D terrain and movement, but I really liked it.  Too bad the system was hobbled by Rackham's poor management and translations.

They still seem to pop up fairly regularly online, sometimes at very reasonable prices. And they take paint well too.

Thanks rwwin, got what I wanted.  :D Thanks for the feedback on the game itself too, might take a look at the rules.

I've been playing and collecting models over the past year. There are a few local folks that play as well, so I have a few opponents and have to say I quite enjoy the rule set. Generally speaking the lack of rules for 3D terrain hasn't proven to be an issue. Occasionally we'll need to discuss how or if a unit can climb up to a building top or the like. If you can find someone to play with, I do recommend giving the rules a try. I think it's actually a very entertaining game.

Sounds good - thanks Obsidian3d. Heights shouldn't be a major problem.

I'd be interested in a list of minis with images if there's anything like that anywhere. Every now and then I've thought about getting a few of these.

I played a few times with Therians vs. UNA and I while I don'T have much experience with these kinds of games, I was not too impressed. The game seemed to be very brutal, with whole units being snuffed out by one attack easily. Therians where probably OP because one of their heroes was able to summon new upper-tier melee units every turn, and even combine two of those into a Wraith Golgoth. So, if you decide to play this way and manage to hold off you opponent for a few turns, you can increase the power of your army by a large margin.

The link to the pdf kindly provided by Rwwin is the best I found - the only list I found with pics, in fact. Even the wikia seems to be very incomplete. I'd recommend them - they have a range of weapons, so you get a variety of troops, and the larger beasties are nice models. And paint seems to adhere to them well. i have to admit I prefer my golgoths with the larger (oversize?) weapons removed, which leaves them a bit naked, but - well you'll see when I get to post pics, and can judge for yourself.

Cherno: that does sound brutal - a new beastie a turn sounds excessive! Thanks.
