Hi,

I need some creative input. Work on my World at War Vehicle Compendiums continues and I need ideas for a good sub-title within the books.

German - Panzer Marsch!
Soviet - Za Stalina, za Rodina! Urrrah!
British & Commenwealth - ???
US - ???

Any ideas apreciated!
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

Isn't this a bit cynical?
I am looking for something more positive.

German - SdKfz
Russian - Tankovyie (Don't take Urrah!, Iron Ivan uses this for DH/C7B)
UK - The King's Landships or The King's Land Ironclads
US - US Steel
If you come for the king, you better not miss (Omar)

Doesn't all this talk of Landships and Land Ironclads sound a bit out of date for a World War Two game?

Sounds more like something for VSF, or at best, the Great War.

Having said that, I've been racking my brains and haven't come up with anything better. Churchill's words to America "Give us the tools and we'll finish the job" are floating around in my head, but it's hard to distil that into something pithy enough to make a catchy title.

Actually so far I like "Give us the tools and we'll finish the job" the best so far. :)
Maybe I was unclear, the title is always: World at war: German (Soviet etc) Vehicle Compendium.
What I am looking for is a catchy sub-title within the book!

For the Britts and Amis I would pick something like.
Onwards to Berlin
Over the Rhine
Into The Reich
Storming The Reich

Panzer Marsch sounds pretty boring to me. Heard this too many times before. What about :
Ziel Erfassen 1200 - Check for other common Panzer Commands

Sorry, those were meant to be jokes except for the Arsenal of Democracy and Hell on Wheels ones. I think Roosevelt referred to the US as the arsenal of democracy because of all of the lend-lease gear they made and Hell on Wheels was one of the US armoured division's mottos.

German - 'Stahlgeschwür' , 'Truppe Greif' , 'Stählerne Löwen'

Soviet - I can't speak russian so I just can say it in english: 'Stalin's Rage' , ' Red angels of death' , ' Hammer of repayment and hook of steel'

British & CW - 'Churchill's jaloppy ' and maybe the old saying ' You'll buy 'em we'll fly 'em '

US - ' Hitler's doom' or ' ordred hell '
